Pastor Sam Smith
House of Christ was birthed from a passion to reach the lost, to help others meet Jesus and to help others build a personal relationship with Him. The burden to help others began with a Pentecostal, non-Apostolic background. Pastor led Bible studies and was involved with youth at that time and later felt the call of God moving him into full time ministry. Pastor understood to a certain extent about Jesus Name Baptism, but not the full Apostolic way at that time. Many years later he was led into the fullness of the Apostolic message. He is forever indebted to God for His perfect leading to come to the knowledge of so many Bible Truths over the years and for this he is ever so grateful. GOD has been faithful. Pastor Smith was called by God and God is continually equipping him for the call. Being God’s servant has been one of pastor’s greatest joys and sharing with others all the many Bible Truths The Lord has revealed over the years. Now, as an Apostolic Pentecostal minister of God’s great Gospel, he will always be humbled by the fact that God cared and God led him to Truth. Come visit us to learn and continue to learn and serve and worship and glorify the only One true GOD and His Name is JESUS!! Pastor’s heart’s cry is for everyone to repent, be baptized in The Name of Jesus Christ, and be filled with The Holy Ghost.

Denver Smith
Pastor Smith and his wife Teresa Smith are humbled by the call God has placed on their youngest son Denver. Denver’s life is totally sold out to The Lord and to The Bible’s Truths. With the House of Christ he began in the beginning from the start mostly in the music in his younger years and then into things with the audio and into media related things. Over the last several years, he has began to assist his father, his Pastor, in many more ways while still being a major part in the music and audio/media. Over the last almost 3 years now he has blessed us and our congregation with many anointed teachings/preachings of Bible Truth. He loves to give personal Bible studies as well. Whether he is behind the pulpit or doing a personal Bible study he takes nothing more seriously in task. He loves helping people with The Word of The Lord more than anything. He has a strong hunger for souls, desiring to have his hands in the work of The Lord baptizing people in The Name of Jesus Christ and seeing God fill them with His Spirit and see peoples lives truly changed and see people truly be set free from the bondage of sin. Early on he was more of a teacher in approach but as time has past The Lord has led him into preaching. He preaches on our midweek Wednesday service every week and teaches our discipleship sessions every other Sunday. We are thankful for his zeal and boldness to boldly proclaim The Word of God without compromise following in the footsteps of his father. We know God is up to many more great things. God has done so many great things and He’s not going to stop now! We give HIM all the glory!!!
